The roots of SKELETUNE go back originally 30 years. Rick York ( Keyboards and vocals) and Anthony Laguna (Drums) started Playing in a garage together and asked Donnie Blankenship (lead vocals and guitar) to join. They played in a band called “Limited Time” from 1995-2001. Taking a 13 year hiatus, they later reunified again in 2014. This time with the lineup of: Donnie Blankenship on lead vocals, Rick York on keyboard / vocals, Anthony Laguna on drums, Jeff Olave on lead guitar,  Paul Hanna on rhythm guitar, and Eli York on bass. They played school events community events and private parties for the next eight years Under the name of “Teacherz Petz.”

Fast forward to the year 2022. The band went through some changes with the new core of the band: Rick York, Anthony Laguna, Donnie Blankenship, Jeff Olave and the addition of bass player Mark Seaton. At this point with the newly formed project, the band name has become SKELETUNE.  Sadly we lost our dear friend and wonderful guitar player Jeff Olave. He passed away in early November of 2023. With this unfortunate and tremendous loss to the project, we were fortunate enough (through Gods faith) and able to bring in our new extremely talented lead guitar player “Robbie Uyeno” as of January 2024.

SKELETUNE is always working hard in the studio and on stage to bring you a fresh new show every year. Our goal is to create a showcase that will leave heartfelt impressions to our listeners and inspire the aspiring artists of all ages! We love to play lots of songs from many genres and are adding new songs to our list regularly. With the addition of the reMARKable Mark Seaton Sr. on the Bass Guitar also a producer, he has helped propell the project into motion. Get ready for the next level of SKELETUNE to rock ya to the Bone!
